Back in the spring, we rebranded the site to NewsPageDesigner » Work as part of a broader strategy to better coordinate with SND's website. The URL was intended to change to work.snd.org, but that didn't manage to happen before the turmoil at SND brought things to a halt. Consequently, the branding says one thing while the URL says another.
We were also trying to move away from NPD because those initials have an unfortunate connotation in Germany. The problem is that the site has grown considerably as npd.snd.org, so there is some risk of losing users in changing the url at this point.
So please help me out and let me know what you think. Thanks!
Why not have two URLs for a while? Or make npd.snd foward to work.snd, meanwhile rebranding the site to only be referred to SND work in order to ingrain the name in users' heads.
I assume sub domains aren't expensive (if not free).
