About me

Sara works for Tribune Publishing as a Print Production Specialist at the DPS. She designs and edits RedEye, a commuter weekly tabloid in Chicago, as well as features for Chicago Tribune, Hartford Courant, New York Daily News, and others in the Tribune Publishing portfolio. She previously worked as a designer at Lee Enterprises’ Regional Design Center, where she worked on news, sports, features and shared content for about 50 markets. For the last 10 years, she has also served as a designer for Chicago Headline Club. She interned at RedEye in 2008 while finishing her BA in journalism at Columbia College.

When she’s not reading or playing games, she’s experimenting in the kitchen (she’s a serial guac eater who puts lime on everything). She firmly believes there’s no such thing as a bad pun. Sara lives in Northwest Indiana surrounded by train tracks (and breweries!) with her player one, Alexander.
