About me

Kathryn Sesser is a writer and designer living in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. When not working or spending time with family, you can either find her at her local used record/book store, eating pho or banh mi in Little Vietnam, or down at the dog beach with her pooch, Huxley. She has been professional journalist for more than a decade now, and has been on staff full-time at several newspapers, as well as written for various websites during her career. She is as well-versed in narrative writing and feature stories as she is laying out broadsheet or tabloid sections, magazine pages or simply logo or menu designs. A photographer as well, Kathryn tries to see the story in everything she approaches, and her main focus always remains the reader.
