I didn't create the spotlight. I pulled that part from an illustration someone else had done, either a wire service, a free clip art website or the staff archive. There was something else in the original illustration that took "center stage," a microphone, I think, and I erased that and applied the Stanford logo. Quick and easy.

How did you create the spotlight??? Did you just use the spotlight tool in Photoshop???
