Nashville. It's not all guitar-pickin', finger-lickin', hot chicken here*. There's also fantastic visual journalism happening.

Come be part of our team.

The Gannett Design Studio in Nashville is seeking designers who want to collaborate and innovate to build dramatic presentations for our growing roster of newspapers, including The Tennessean right here in Nashville; The Clarion-Ledger in Mississippi; The News-Press in Fort Myers, Fla.; The Naples Daily News in Naples, Fla.; The Montgomery Advertiser in Alabama and eight other papers in diverse markets.

We're looking for someone who strives to tell stories visually in ways that engross and engage readers again and again. We're looking for someone with a great attitude, who wants to learn and collaborate, and who understands and loves the never-boring atmosphere of the news business. We're looking for someone who wants to grow. We're looking for someone who wants to work with editors to push the boundaries of what newspapers can do for readers.

We're looking for pros.

We're looking for rookies.

As long as you've got great design ideas, creative problem-solving skills and top-notch collaboration and communication chops, you are what we are looking for.

* OK, we love that stuff too. But there's even more here: Vibrant nightlife, outstanding food scene, pro sports, outdoor recreation, music everywhere, growing tech sector, bustling maker subculture, cultural diversity, and so much more.
