A few of the many interactives I have created or contributed too. Most of the following were developed using HTML, CSS and Javascript; however, some of the older examples utilized Flash (AS2 and AS3).

University Ridge – Take a virtual tour of University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. We built the interactive to align with the PGA Legends Tour event.

Packer quiz – A drag-and-drop Green Bay Packer uniform quiz using existing JavaScript. How many can you get right?

Guide to sausages – Grilled, sliced, cured or smoked, cheeseheads have a reputation for loving the almighty bratwurst as much as a cold beer or an aged cheddar.

Homicides – A map showing the details of every homicide committed in Dane County since 2004. We will continue to update this map. Would love to stop.

Exploring beer styles – Interactive guide for finding your ideal style of beer — some thick, some thin; some dark, some light; some ales, some lagers.

Cheese guide – Find pairing suggestions for different Wisconsin artisanal cheeses and learn more about why they go well together.

Tony Robinson timeline – Events surrounding the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Tony Robinson by a Madison police officer on March 6, 2015.

Ash tree map – A map showing which ash trees will be saved and which will go. Nothing out of the ordinary, until you look at the quanity of the data set. Yikes, that is a lot of trees.

Coloring book – 10 pages of Madison-centric objects to color. There are plans to make more, when I get around to having time.

Farmers' markets – A look at the farmers' Markets in Dane County along with videos, recipes and a listing of whats fresh. Viewers can navigate by day of the week or location.

Madison home values - An interactive map showing the change in the value of the average Madison single-family home from 2012 to 2013.

Rule-exempt quarries - Quarries that have been exempted from following standard rules created to make them more compatible with residents who live near them.

Private school enrollment – A county by county look at change in enrollment at private schools in Wisconsin. Utilizes a dynamically-created line graph on roll-over.

Same-day voter registration – Same-day voter turnout by county in Wisconsin during the June 5 gubernatorial recall.

Milwaukee Brewers season comparison – A game by game look at the 2011 Milwaukee Brewers' season and historic seasons from the past.

Major political contributions – A tree map showing political contributions to each party by donor's employer, occupation or source of donation.

Guide to the Chazen – A look inside the Chazen Museum before it opened. The interactive contains audo, panoraics and galleries.

Children's Museum - A floor by floor look at the Madison Children's Museum. Photos and 360° panoramas showcase some the museums attractions.

Down to a whisper - Videos and interactive about Wisconsin's Native American languages, how they tie to the past, and how they risk being lost forever.

Sack tracker – The number of sacks given up by the Green Bay Packers during the 2009 season by game.

360° panorama – A view from the expansive patio overlooking the Bay of Green Bay from behind a Door County mansion. We also did 360s of some of the decadent inside rooms.

Animal quest game – A game built to promote the expansion of the Henry Vilas Zoo and our coverage of the event.

Dangerous as it beautiful – Deaths at Devil's Lake State Park (SND award winner). This was one of the first online interactives I ever built when they were quite rare. Still like it.
