Because readers had seen our series on Page One for three consecutive days, we promoed the last installment with this skybox. This was one of the few weathered black-and-white portraits of Eileen that I didn’t convert to greyscale or duotone for this series. I thought the uneven sepia-colored weathering played well with the understated color I had used throughout the series. Dec. 10, 2014.
