A local man was being inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. I found that biographical material on this guy was very hard to come by — I found it, but I really had to dig. Even the company he founded listed very few personal details. I also wanted to explain his device and how it worked, so I spent about 90 minutes watching a dozen or so videos on YouTube on electrical engineering. Result: I don’t know crap about electrical engineering. Hopefully, I didn’t embarrass myself too baby with this one.
