The Palm Beach Post wrote an interesting feature about a woman in the paper's coverage area who played baseball professionally in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. That was the league made famous by the 1992 movie, "A League of Their Own." What is fascinating about Margaret Wigiser, though, is what she did after she stopped playing, which was become a lifelong activist for equality in girls sports. I put together the breakouts about the league and the movie.
