A big one for us in terms of contemporizing our use of color. This is the page on which I fully introduced the in vogue blackish-tan (5C10M15Y5K) that I borrowed from Joanne Sosangelis' features palette. As any Sunday editor knows, one must keep one's enterprise package flexible, so this required a bit of tweaking with the sniper attack that broke around 10 p.m. that night. A perfect fit (although the squarish Sunday promo rail hinders the overall effect. I'd lost the battle to center all the rail type and do more silos, and this blocky version prevailed). In hindsight, probably not the best solution making readers jump across that center photo ... should have found a vertical option or run the photo all the way at the bottom of the package.
