It's not even the gigantic header, it's the mid-90s bevel and shadow. Even the small-town crummy papers back in Wyoming where I'm from ditched that years ago.

Ha. I wish I could, Bill. They seem to be reluctant to many changes so far, but here's hoping they see that it wastes some valuable real estate at the top of the page.
