A couple of classics from the Nan Bisher-era redesign of The Journal News. We worked up many mockups and special packages together. When the time was right, I helped advocate for killing and/or adapting the rail to a high-impact story. I set the tone for umbrella lead heds and over-the-story refer packages with these pages, as well as as the red-black type contrast. On another impeachment-era page, I used all-cap red Futura labels over the four stories on the front ... we later switched such labels to all-cap Franklin condensed at 40 percent gray during the 50-inch Web redesign.
