After my success with the Flag Day page, I offered to build something for the fourth. Looking for a way to bring some visual structure to the page, I stumbled upon the idea of putting a flag in the background and then playing off the stripes. There's a mix of stuff here -- trivia from 137 years ago, current data on imports, other historical events that happened on July 4th and some pop culture items.
