Everyone remembers the SARS virus from a couple of years ago. But that one killed one out of every 10 people who got it. This one kills half. Luckily, it's spreading a lot more slowly. In particular, I was fascinated by the fact that a company delayed treatment efforts to get the virus patented. Just amazing what private industry will do to make a buck. June 3, 2013.
