The 130th anniversary of the largest volcano explosion in recorded history. The blast was heard in Sri Lanka, 4,500 miles away. So much sulphur dioxide was pumped into the atmosphere that the change in air pressure registered on gauges around the world. Lead art was an old lithograph.
