I'm afraid this NASA mission to the moon will always be remembered as the mission that launched a frog into space. There's quite a bit of cool science happening here, however. LADEE is taking a month -- instead of the usual three or four days -- to get to the moon. And the ship was made in a new, modular way. NASA says modular construction of its robotic spacecraft may do for unmanned space travel what the assembly line did for Henry Ford's Model T. As usual, all the info here came from NASA. I love these space graphics and I suspect it shows in my work. Sept. 17, 2013
