I found a great story from the Washington Post and a four-column graphic. I'm done with narratives on my Focus pages, so I sliced up the story, edited hell out of it and then sprinkled the pieces into the graphic, which I ripped up and enlarged as much as I could get it. I'm just fascinated with the bit across the bottom: In order to teach these birds how to migrate, they're going to mix in a few white rock doves, painted to look like passenger pigeons. A story too strange to be true. Great watercolor work by Patterson Clark of the Washington Post. July 25, 2013.
