Someone suggested I do a page on the battleship Iowa, which is now a floating museum on the other side of Long Beach. I've kind of been there and done that with battleships -- perhaps you've seen my big cutaway diagram from 1995 -- so on this piece I went back to my original idea from back then and simply did a big chronology, illustrated with vintage Navy pictures. We got nice compliments from the folks at the museum. Aug. 27, 2013.
