Not one of the more visually stimulating pages I've ever done, but this one was a really good read. I had never heard of Exercise Tiger -- a dress-rehearsal for D-Day off the coast of England, in which a German boat patrol wandered. Hundreds died, and the debacle was kept secret… because reporting it would reveal details about the Normandy invasion, scheduled for a month or so later. Photos were really, really had to come by for this one. April 25, 2014
