The Washington Post moved a great story about a self-driving car being developed by Carnegie Mellon University. There was also a Q&A sidebar and a nice graphic. What I spotted right away: The Q&A and graphic worked quite well on their own: No mainbar needed. So, naturally, I dumped it. I saved a few sentences to build the intro copy and the two big questions up top. Great graphics by Alberto Cuadra.
