My task was to build a features page on the Aztec dancers who'd be performing at Victoria's Cinco de Mayo celebration. The catch: I had no art of the actual dancers -- other than the very low-rez picture you see there, downpage -- which came in very late. My solution was to search Google for images I could use for free. That big picture is from a performance five years ago at a NASA base in California. The picture was taken by a NASA photographer who's paid by Uncle Same -- meaning the picture, by definition, is in the public domain. You just don't get this lucky very often. April 30, 2015
