For the month of April we're conducting an experiment with one of our distributors. At select locations, we're making a different A1 from the standard front to see if it sells any better than other locations. Basically, we're trying to see if designing up the cover, making it almost like a tabloid, will increase sales. This was the first day's attempt.

Thanks! The idea for the design came pretty much as I learned what the story was about. I left before we fully understood the results and if it had any impact. We would get monthly numbers showing what the sales were but for me they were kind of hard to understand without getting the full context. This fall I plan on contacting my former bosses to see what they learned.

This is a great page, and a really great idea. What kind of response have you had from the experiment? Curious because I've always wanted to do something like that, just need results to approach the bosses with. Great looking front, again, though.
