We're hiring a creative director

The Asbury Park design studio is looking for a creative director. We've added another creative position to our leadership team to help us with coaching and manage the visual direction of the studio.

This is a great opportunity to connect with talented playmates, influence multiple newspapers and nurture young designers with great potential. 

You'd be hard pressed to find an environment with more creative freedom. Bold design is not just something that designers aspire to; it's part of the readership strategy for the whole company.

The studio itself is still in its infancy, but we have made a lot of progress. It's hard to describe the buzz one gets from having dozens of creative people working together for a common goal. 

Bring your surf board and your guitar. Asbury Park is one of many small towns along the Jersey Shore. It has a bit of Brooklyn vibe and a great music scene. If that's not enough, we're just a short commute to NYC.

What will help you get the job? An innovative portfolio is a great start. Do you have a track record of making good things happen? Do you keep mental lists of your favorite designers, both inside and outside of the industry? A great sense of humor also doesn't hurt.
