Talented News or Sports Designer in Louisville

[Louisville Design Studio]

We’re currently seeking an individual who can produce high-end designs for some of our best products. The designer will be able to create and execute smart concepts, and understand when to compliment a great photo with sound and clean typography. We’re looking for someone with proven skills, but will also consider a driven up-and-comer. The right candidate will also think about how their work will play on digital platforms. When when you need an illustration or creative concept, YOU get to do it.

We produce more than 20 papers here in the Louisville Design Studio, including USA Today, The Indianapolis Star, The Cincinnati Enquire and the Louisville Courier Journal. We get some fantastic section-front canvases to work with.

Despite our size, our teams are right-sized and lead by a team leader who will give individual coaching before your work publishes, as well as giving on-going training. You’ll focus on one or two products that we’ll want you to own, guide and help art direct. Not only will we coach, but we have some fantastic designers that are always sharing and giving advice.

A great bonus here is that our Studio is continuing to grow. We’re adding new sites and products. Louisville is a fantastic city, and we have a great contingent of designers discovering the city together.
