I am Scott Turick, Night Copy Desk Manager at The Daytona Beach News-Journal in Florida and newspagedesigner member.

 

We have just undergone a redesign, a page width cutdown and installed a state-of-the-art content management system.

 

Now, we are looking for a visual journalist to help elevate our presentation efforts.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal is looking for a sharp designer who knows how to make Page 1 pop
and who’s as fast as the fast-paced newspaper business. We need someone who has
great experience with InDesign. Experience with Saxotech Mediaware Center is
even better. The Daytona Beach News-Journal is owned by Halifax Media Group,
which consists of 33 newspapers and affiliated websites in five states. We offer
