LEAD SPORTS DESIGNER - Colorado Springs

I'm in search of a lead Sports section designer for The Gazette in Colorado Springs, CO.

We're losing a great designer, but I know there's another one out there who wants to help us share news of the Broncos, Air Force Academy, Olympics (we're home to the USOC, high-altitude training center and 20+ NGBs), Avalanche, Nuggets, Rockies, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, USA Pro Challenge cycling race and more.

You'll work with a great team of photographers, and have direct input into how sports are covered and presented in The Gazette and at gazette.com. We need a team player who makes pages pop, recognizes a great story, loves to dig into stats, and hits deadline. We're a small but mighty team that isn't interested in mediocrity.
