Hello all,
I'm researching current and historical use of add-ons such as books, CDs etc used in mass circulation newspapers. I'm especially interested, though, in analogue objects -- additional supplements, or tapes, toys or perfumes,  or whatever!

These might have been used for marketing purposes, to sell newspapers or might have a public service function, e.g. public information or education, but basically I would love to know about any such strategy, anywhere. If you can point me toward any examples I would be most grateful. But I would also love to hear your views on how they work(ed) with the newspaper, positively or negatively.

If you have any information or views on this topic, please answer here or message me to get in touch.
