HIRING: Page Designer / Visual Journalist

EO Media Group is seeking a visual journalist to join our team in Salem, Oregon. As a valued member of our Design Studio, the successful candidate will work directly with our daily and weekly newspaper editors to produce engaging news pages that represent and reflect the reporting from our local communities in Oregon and Washington.

Our designers have the freedom to implement ideas and are empowered to take ownership of the news products they produce. A qualified candidate will show a passion for journalism, design, and collaboration, and must be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment. Experience with professional newspaper and/or magazine page layout (and InDesign) is required, while copy editing, graphic design, and knowledge of newspaper content management systems are preferred qualifications.
