Esri MapStudio v.4.2 question

Hi Y'all -

I was wondering if any of you have upgraded to MapStudio v.4.2 recently and found it lacking for creating maps for print. It seems like all their upgrading efforts went into enhancements for online and web publishing. In fact, they seem to have dropped most of the usable functions for generating layered Adobe Illustrator map files. Has anyone had these problems?
