How to enter

Each annual Best of News Design™ Creative Competition covers one calendar year. The Call for Entries is published in print and online in October of the competition year. The judging takes place the following February.

Printed copies of the Call for Entries are mailed in November to previous entrants and to anyone who requests a copy. Entrants submit unmounted tear sheets. Each entry requires a small entry fee, paid in U.S. funds, and an official entry form.
