Tracking the Saints' history in the NFL
As part of a Super Bowl preview package, I recapped the Saints' 43-year history with vector Mardi Gras beads. The graphic is all-Illustrator, combing symbol instances and a specified-step blend method. The part that took the longest was counting up every W and L, by season.

Ahhh, the hallmarks of a Stephen Beard graphic: A simple metaphor and painstakingly thorough research all wrapped up in a smart, accessible structure. Nice.
