Craig Walker spent two years with Ian Fisher, from high school graduation, through a series of girlfriends, from basic to the battlefields – and back home. The story evolved – as the photos reveal – into a look at how the U.S. Army took a freshly-minted, baby-faced high school graduate and turned him into a soldier – an American soldier.
