The Washington Post’s mobile innovations group, which recently launched the Washington Post’s new Kindle Fire app, is adding to its team of talented digital editors. These new staffers will work on a suite of products in development that will roll out throughout 2015, and require well-rounded digital journalists with strong news judgment, editing skills and an eye for design.

Specifically we are looking for visual designers with experience in a live news environment and news designers who are familiar with web production and managing their work across digital platforms. We are looking for people who can think differently about how we deliver journalism for new, national audiences. Experience working with visual and multimedia elements is key.

We are looking for team players who are excited about the future of news across tiny and big screens. It also will help to have a spirit of adventure, as we’ll be experimenting with new approaches on evolving platforms.

If you are interested in these positions, please contact Cory Haik (cory.haik@washpost.com) by Feb. 2. Please include a resume and a link to a portfolio or work examples.
