The Albuquerque Journal is looking for a creative page designer to join our talented, award-winning staff.
We would prefer a designer who is capable of designing news or features pages. We give our designers opportunities to work on different sections, so we appreciate versatility. And we also give our designers opportunities to learn new things.
Candidates should know how to use InDesign. Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.
The Albuquerque Journal is a family-owned newspaper and is the largest newspaper in New Mexico.
And since you won’t be spending all of your time at work, here are a few things you might want to know about Albuquerque: It’s a fun city with a lively entertainment scene. It’s a place where it’s almost aways sunny (the city averages 310 days of sunshine per year). It doesn’t get too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter.
If you’re interested in outdoor activities, you can take a hike in the nearby Sandia mountains or hit the ski trails in the morning before you come to work.
