About me

I am Parveen Kumar. I specialise in visual communication – graphic design in particular. I have been working in the print media in New Delhi since 2005.

I have worked with several leading publications, where my assignments ranged from designing page and layout to preparing logos, banners and similar print works. My employers include the Today (part of the India Today group), Metro Now (a joint venture of the Times of India and Hindustan Times), Media Transasia and Governance Now (a Sri Adhikari Brothers Group publication).

I am at home in using a range of software tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and so on).

My interest in communicating things visually prompted me to take up photography, which started as a hobby and is now a passion. I am from the scenic Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh. So, the majestic Himalayas inspire my shots. But I also have an eye for the novel in the daily grind.
