This week marks the 100th anniversary of when German pilot Manfred von Richthofen shot down his first plane in World War I. He eventually wound up with 80 kills and became known as the Red Baron. I had never seen his record broken down into a timeline before, so this was fun. His big month: April 1917, when he shot down 21 planes. He got four in one day on April 29.
